Dear Residents,

We are thrilled to announce that the Village of Kinderhook has been awarded $2.25 million through the NY Forward grant program!

There will be more to come in the weeks and months ahead as we begin the process of upgrading Rothermel Park, renovating Van Buren Hall, re-building the Bandstand, as well as improving several privately-owned buildings throughout the village!

Thank you to Renee Shur, Nicole Heeder, our current Trustees, and the many other village staff members and residents who participated in putting our grant and presentation together.

Thank you to the former Mayors and Trustees whose service and foresight over many years put the village in a position to win this grant: Dale Leiser, Jim Dunham, Carol Weaver, Bill Van Alstyne, Rich Phillips, and many others.

And thank you to Governor Hochul and the Regional Economic Development Council for your trust and investment in our community!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me at mayor@villageofkinderhook.org.

Sincerely,
Mike
